Background

How Our Funding Works

PLEASE NOTE APPLICATIONS ARE STRICTLY BY INVITATION.

We do not accept or consider uninvited or unsolicited applications.

Students wishing to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate bursaries should apply through the University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University. Application forms will be available from the undergraduate and postgraduate funding offices on both campuses.

Please note that there are two fields of study that Harry, founder of the trust, excluded from receiving bursaries – these are Religious studies and Political studies.

Our Funding Ethos

The majority of our grants will be used to support projects in Education. We are willing to provide multi-year grants up to a maximum of three years where the needs of the programme or organisation require it. We are willing to enter into co-funding partnerships with other grant making organisations.
