The 2025 Investec Philanthropy Breakfast, in partnership with the Independent Philanthropy Association of South Africa (IPASA), was held on the 21st February; and was aimed at fostering world-class partnerships and leave lasting impressions.
The Harry Crossley Foundation team had an inspiring morning listening to Lwando Xaso, from the Moleskin Foundation, who presented on the Creativity for Social Change Hub, a South African non profit based in Johannesburg that works with creative and cultural organizations on the African continent. Lwando discussed how creativity can be used to push activism and transform pain into purpose. As a constitutional lawyer and an outstanding public speaker, Lwando provided much food for thought and challenged the audience to think both laterally and strategically. Lwando Xaso was followed by a fascinating panel discussion talking to collaboration and fostering partnerships to improve impact. It was a fantastic morning.
