The Harry Crossley Foundation team drove out to Vrygrond on the 4th of September to meet with the acting principal of Capricorn Primary School, Ms. Tracey-Lee Bester. The school has been led by Ms. Bester since the retirement of Ms. Siddieka Hassen at the end of last year. Ms Hassen had led the school tirelessly and with such devotion.
During the long partnership that the Harry Crossley Foundation has had with Capricorn School, she has shown the utmost dedication and professionalism. The school has benefitted from her steady and practical guidance in times that were often very difficult. The Foundation thanks Ms. Hassen and indeed Ms. Bester for stepping into the breech while a new Head of School is recruited.
