On Friday the 10th March, Kristin Larsen and Bernard Osrin had the pleasure of joining ORT SA Cape for one of their amazing education workshops using Lego bricks.
Theresa from ORT SA Cape was our teacher for the day and she was absolutely amazing at showing us the multiple ways Lego bricks can be incorporated into the ECD and Foundation Phase classrooms and provide many teaching opportunities – from language development and mathematics skills to fine and gross motor skills development. The best part about this teaching technique is that it’s all done through purposeful play which engages and enhances a child’s learning experience.
