Christel House South Africa offers scholarships to learners from underserved communities, giving them the quality schooling and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
As the need for high school placements has grown, Christel House has expanded its campus to include a new high school. The first two Grade 8 classes started in 2025, and the completed expansion now makes room for around 300 more learners.
The new facility includes modern classrooms, a media centre, staff offices, and a computer laboratory, giving learners a supportive and well-equipped environment in which to learn.
On 22 May, Christel House officially opened the new high school, and the Harry Crossley Foundation was glad to be there alongside other funders, partners, and representatives from the Western Cape Education Department to celebrate the milestone.
The expansion represents a significant investment in educational opportunity and will enable more young people to access quality secondary education in the years to come.
