Celebrating ICT’s 45th Graduate Class

On September 14th, the Harry Crossley Foundation had the pleasure of witnessing the graduation of 16 students from the Infinity Culinary Training (ICT) program. ICT offers culinary training to unemployed youth with a strong enthusiasm for the culinary arts, equipping them with the skills and experience needed to thrive in the industry. The training program is renowned for its rigorous training, which combines classroom instruction with hands-on experience, followed by internships at renowned restaurants in Cape Town. This ensures that graduates are well-prepared to enter the workforce once they complete the program.

The event kicked off with an inspiring speech from ICT founder Barry Berman, who shared the organization’s journey—from its humble beginnings to the incredible impact it has made over the years, having produced over 750 graduates to date. The graduates also took the stage, sharing heartfelt stories of the challenges they faced and the pride they felt in reaching this important milestone.

The celebration brought together a supportive community, including proud families, current students, ICT staff, Cape Town’s top chefs, and key donors. We extend our warmest congratulations to the 45th class and wish them every success as they embark on their professional culinary careers.
