The Foundation was thrilled to hear that Professor Pumla Gobodo Madikizela had been awarded the Templeton Prize. Linda Whitfield and Bernard Osrin attended the celebration held at the Homecoming Centre in District Six. The evening was a celebration of Professor Madikizela’s work as a clinical psychologist, author and academic. Her work on advancing knowledge in the field of forgiveness and processes of repair in the aftermath of trauma violence, led to her being awarded this international prize. Stellenbosch University has every right to be proud of this amazing achievement.
Guests were treated to a performance by the Stellenbosch University Choir and they were absolutely outstanding.
