This year, the Doris Crossley Foundation extended its undergraduate education support to three students at The Animation School, and we had the pleasure of attending the student exhibition showcasing the work of first and second-year students. The exhibition featured a range of impressive 3D creations, allowing us to see how the students’ skills and creativity develop as they progress through their studies.
We also attended the premiere of final-year student films, which showcased the collaborative work of this cohort. The short films were diverse in style, storytelling, and overall tone, reflecting both the creativity and technical skill of the students. We were especially proud to see the contributions of our own bursary students, who played an active role in these projects and have successfully completed their degrees. We look forward to following their careers and seeing how their creativity continues to shape the animation industry.
The programme continues to grow, with the Foundation planning to support an additional two students in 2026. We are excited about this expanding partnership and the opportunities it will create for aspiring animators.
