Our midyear visit and monitoring process took place at the Counselling Hub headquarters in Woodstock on the 17th of September 2024.
The Counselling Hub offer counselling remotely or face-to-face at an affordable rate and aim to reach the most vulnerable in our society. Their presentation included the demographics of those that they support. It is pleasing to note the increase of client numbers which indicates that they are reaching more and more individuals in need.
Of interest was the development that the Counselling Hub are making in terms of standardising their treatment options and the comprehensive records and data capturing that they are monitoring for each of their clients. At a time when the incidence of mental health distress has become very apparent across all sectors of our population; the work that the Counselling Hub is doing, is absolutely vital. The Harry Crossley Foundation is very pleased to partner with The Counselling Hub to try to meet this demand.
