RCCH – New Emergency Unit

The Harry Crossley Foundation are proud to have had a long standing relationship with The Red Cross Children’s Hospital and The Children’s Hospital Trust. Currently The Hospital Trust are on a fund raising drive for R103 million to secure the upgrade and redevelopment of the Emergency Unit. The Harry Crossley Foundation have answered this call for assistance and were pleased to be present at the “Ground Breaking ” ceremony on the 30th of May at the hospital. We wish The Hospital Trust well in their task to raise the funds and know that the grant makers and the people of Cape Town and South Africa will get behind this project as they always do. Listening to the mother of a small child who made that terrifying journey through the Emergency Unit to seek help was so inspiring as was the young patient who returned to thank the Hospital and the staff for caring for her. This Hospital holds a very special place in our hearts.
