November marks one of our favourite times in the Foundation’s annual rhythm – our trustee disbursement meeting, where we gather to review proposals and finalise funding allocations for the coming year.
After much thoughtful discussion (and plenty of coffee), we’re delighted to share that the 2026 disbursement decisions are complete!
Each year’s review reminds us how much exceptional work is being done across South Africa – from education and youth development to research, animal welfare, and social innovation. The conversations are always rich, reflective, and energising, and this year was no exception.
We’re thrilled to continue supporting a number of long-standing partners while also welcoming a few new additions to the Foundation family:
-
Huddle Education – reimagining learning through innovative, student-centred models.
-
Youth Hub – empowering young people with mentorship, skills, and connection.
-
Forensic Wildlife Centre – combining science and conservation to protect our wildlife heritage.
- Principals Academy Trust – The Foundation recognises the importance and value of supporting school principals to improve educational outcomes in low-fee schools. In response, it has expanded its support to the Principals Academy Trust by fully supporting the Principals Management Development Programme, which focuses on strengthening the leadership and professional development of school principals through UCT’s School of Business and Governance.
Congratulations to all our funded partners, both returning and new, whose commitment continues to inspire and drive meaningful change in their communities.
As we close the year, we do so with gratitude for the collaboration, insight, and shared purpose that make this work possible. Here’s to another impactful year ahead!
