The team was recently invited to attend Numeric’s presentation of their 2025 evaluation results. The Harry Crossley Foundation supports the coaching component of the programme, through which Numeric coaches, who are BEd students, receive specialised mathematics training and provide targeted support to Grade 6 and 7 learners.
The results demonstrated strong impact, showing that learners who participated in the Numeric programme made significantly more progress than those who did not take part. These findings highlight the value of targeted support in strengthening foundational numeracy skills.
The event also included the presentation of the Andrew Einhorn Learning Legacy Trophy, which recognises school principals who have played a key role in supporting the successful implementation of Numeric in their schools. The principal of the recognised school was presented with this year’s trophy and spoke about the long-standing partnership with Numeric, emphasising the programme’s positive impact on learners.
We are encouraged by these results and proud to support a programme that is helping to improve mathematics outcomes and build stronger foundations for teaching and learning.
