The Symposium, a significant annual two-day event tailored for grant-makers in Cape Town, serves as a vital platform for discussing and addressing challenging issues that philanthropists are working to tackle in the country. HCF provided funding towards the production of IPASA’s Annual Review of South African Philanthropy. The fourth edition of this review showcased the work of independent philanthropy in South Africa through case studies, stories, and opinions from a diverse group of philanthropists. This edition delved into both the accomplishments and challenges faced by the country’s leading philanthropic organizations.
