Celebrating two alumni students | Wardah and Faiek Abrahams

We are proud to highlight the achievements of two of our former students, Faiek and Wardah, whose journeys reflect the impact of the Doris Crossley Foundation’s support.

Faiek was the first to join the Doris Crossley Foundation programme, studying Electrical Engineering at CPUT. He graduated in 2020 and has continued to grow in his career, recently celebrating six years with his current employer, where he works as a Technical Plant Specialist.

Wardah joined the programme in 2022 and graduated in 2023 from the University of the Western Cape with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She currently works as a social worker, supporting patients across various healthcare facilities.

Reflecting on their journeys, they shared their appreciation for the support they received during their studies:

“Faiek and I would once again like to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the financial support you provided during our university studies…Thank you for believing in us and for continuing to make a difference in students’ lives.” Wardah Abrahams

We are proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing their continued growth and impact in their respective fields.
